Washington County Fair

Celebrate tradition, community, and country spirit at the 2026 Washington County Fair—July 14–19—featuring agriculture, youth showcases, family fun, and this year’s parade theme: “Stars, Stripes, & County Fair Nights.”
The Washington County Fair is a long-standing annual tradition that celebrates agriculture, youth development, and local culture in Washington County, Kansas. Held each summer at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Washington, the event brings together residents and visitors for a full week of exhibits, entertainment, competitions, and family-friendly activities. The 2026 fair will take place July 14–July 19, highlighting the region’s strong agricultural roots through livestock shows, 4-H and FFA exhibitions, home arts and crafts displays, carnival rides, food vendors, and a variety of livestock competitions. In addition to these classic fair attractions, attendees can enjoy special contests and entertainment such as photography competitions, Queen contests, horseshoe tournaments, and other activities for all ages. More than just a festival, the Washington County Fair provides a meaningful opportunity for the community to connect, celebrate local talent and agriculture, and enjoy the spirit of small-town Kansas. The 2026 Fair Parade theme is “Stars, Stripes, & County Fair Nights.”
